Sprouting seeds

paradigm shift

My writing

Hello,

As “sprouting seeds” indicates, this blog is all about ideas. My single aim in developing this blog is so that I can build a store house of ideas; innovative stuff. Some of the ideas have been implemented. Others are just wanton urges. Feel free to borrow any idea and implement it.

Well, the above paragraph is where I started from when I started building this blog. Now (after nearly a month) I think its more about my poems, people seem to be interested in them. I write whenever something inspires me.

I wrote Punjabi girl after I saw her once on the street. That took only an hour to write. ‘The walk of life’ which I have titled as ‘caged Animal’ took over a week. My next aim is to put in a daily log of what I think and learn during my Duke admission process. That will be titled under ‘Thoughts’.

Talk about major oscillations. Now I am back to writing articles. I think people find them informative. The poems are after all poems: to be read, appreciated and forgotten. Its been a couple of weeks and I still cant write anything under thoughts.

A month after writing the above paragraph my blog is undergoing a metamorphosis. Now i am blogging about the visa problems i faced during my application and the student visa interview experience. I am also looking at writing more about various things I need to do before I get to Duke.

Back to articles again. This is because over the last couple of weeks I have been getting a lot of feedback about the kind of person I am. I decided to analyze the very framework on which the concept of feedback is based. The guinea pig I found for the experiment is me.

Times keep a changing, and I keep a changing. I ended up in America and I ended up getting all excited about the place and the university and the work I am doing here. The experiences are of the kind I have never had before. So I decided to blog about that for a while. Decided to add flickr link to the site so that you can check out the photos. I noticed that Americans do not indent. I kinda decided to go along with the style over here. Except this paragraph of course.

I knew something big had to happen before I edit this page! And something big did happen. I am going to join MIT Sloan. Of course I am going to write a tonne of stuff about how to put together a strong MBA application. Of course I am going to write about all the good stuff that happens to you once you have been offered admission and ofcourse I will write about my MIT Sloan experience.
